Nominations open for the Recfishwest Board

Are you passionate about the future of fishing in Western Australia?

Do you believe in the importance of sustainable fisheries, environmental stewardship and community engagement? Recfishwest is seeking dedicated individuals to nominate for our Board as an Elected Director.

We are looking for dynamic leaders who share our passion for fishing and are eager to help shape the future of fishing in WA. This includes championing sustainability, research, accessibility, facilities, infrastructure, delivering more fish stocking and habitat enhancement programs while also advocating for fishing interests all across the State.

It doesn’t matter if you are a seasoned angler or someone with fresh ideas and a commitment to fishing, the environment and community, your perspective is valuable.

At the 2024 Annual General Meeting, three vacancies for directors will exist to be elected from the membership. Declaration of these positions will take place at Recfishwest’s AGM at the Burswood on Swan Function Centre on Thursday, 14 November 2024, commencing at 6pm.
