Nominate as a director for the Recfishwest Board to make WA fishing even better

Recfishwest is seeking nominations for candidates from across WA to be considered for appointment for three vacant positions on its Board of Directors.

The Recfishwest Board of Management comprises of eight directors.

  • Five directors elected from the membership;
  • Three directors appointed based on expertise.

At the 2021 AGM — to be held at the Burswood on Swan Function Centre at 1 Camfield Drive, Burswood on Tuesday, 9 November, 2021, from 4.30pm — vacancies will exist for three directors elected from the membership to hold office for a term of two years.

Directors whose terms expire are eligible to seek re-election.

If you have a passion for fishing, nominate to be considered for the Recfishwest Board to help make WA fishing even better.

Nomination process 

Only financial members are eligible to stand as directors.

An eligible financial member intending to nominate for the above positions needs to give notice to the CEO of Recfishwest in writing using the nomination form here.

Nomination forms must be submitted to the Recfishwest office by midnight on Sunday, 24 October, 2021.

Forms should be submitted by either:

  • By email to info@recfishwest.org.au and marked “APPLICATION FOR THE POSITION OF DIRECTOR”; or,
  • By post to CEO Dr Andrew Rowland, Recfishwest, Suite 3/45 Northside Drive, Hillarys, WA, 6025.

A confirmation of receipt will be returned.
