The biggest land-based fishing competition in Australia is back – and there is over $10,000 in prizes up for grabs during Salmon Slam 2023!
The 2023 Slam runs from 1 March until 1 May and is split up into four phases, with each phase lasting two weeks and containing numerous prize categories.
The best part? Not only are salmon very easy to access and catch off our pristine southern beaches for all ages and abilities, but you also have a chance to win prizes simply for catching one.
The top three overall prizes are up for grabs for anyone who enters a catch via the Salmon Slam 2023 app – which includes a dream fishing pack from Shimano valued at over $3,000!

Prizes will be mailed out to all winners at the conclusion of each competition phase and overall prizes at the end of the two-month competition.
