Recfishwest Annual General Meeting 2025 – Nominations for Director vacancies

Help guide the future of recreational fishing in Western Australia

Recfishwest plays a vital role in ensuring great fishing experiences for the community by protecting healthy fisheries, supporting fair fishing access, and representing the interests of WA fishers. Our Board provides strong governance and strategic direction to help us achieve this mission.

At the 2025 AGM, vacancies will exist for two elected Director positions. We invite members who share Recfishwest’s commitment to responsible, enjoyable and sustainable fishing to consider nominating.

Serving on the Recfishwest Board offers an opportunity to contribute your experience, insight, and passion to the continued success of WA’s peak recreational fishing body. Whether your background lies in community leadership, business, science, policy, or fishing itself, your contribution can help shape the future of our sector.

We value diversity of thought and experience and encourage nominations from across WA’s fishing community to ensure the Board continues to represent the breadth of our members and stakeholders.
